Virtual Horsemanship Writing Club

Service Description

The Horsemanship Writing Club consists of a series of four classes (either in-person or virtual). Class consist of horse experiences, horsemanship lessons, with equine assisted learning promoting handwriting skills. Classes will be held in the barn. This club is appropriate for children ages 5-12. Participants will receive a fine motor activity box and a workbook. Participants meet once a week for an hour long in-person or virtual zoom session (depending on preference of the participant). The class is live and interactive. The Horsemanship Writing Club is presented in coordination with Star Equestrians and Toy Box Occupational Therapy, LLC. The club classes are run by occupational therapy assistant, Cindy Frederick-Fulton and supported by occupational therapist, Jennifer Kopczyk. In-person sessions take place at Star Equestrians, 15574 Route 422 Hwy East, Strongstown, PA 15957. Virtual session take place via Zoom.
